Biography: Dr. Dynako attended The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN where he completed a B.S. in biology while playing defensive end on the football team. As a Senior he was voted team captain, was a NAIA COSIDA Academic All-American, and received the team's Silver Helmet Award.
He attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and did all four years in South Bend on Notre Dame's campus. During medical school he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
He then completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Mississippi Medical Center. During Residency he was induced into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He also was afforded the opportunity to do an in-folded AO Trauma Fellowship at the Kantonsspital Graubünden in Chur, Switzerland (one of the 4 founding hospitals of the AO).
Following residency he completed an additional orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in Seatle, WA. Widely regarded as one of the top trauma fellowships in the world.
He specializes in the care of all fractures of the pelvis and extremities, as well as the management of mal-aligned and unhealed fractures (malunions and nonunions).
My Approach to Healthcare
I understand that orthopaedic trauma patients are often having one of the worst days of their lives and I feel blessed to have the privilege to help them along their healing journey to return to normal life and function. My approach to orthopaedic trauma care has been shaped by internationally renowned mentors and a strong evidence-based approach to orthopaedics.
