Biography: I was born and raised in Iowa and have completed all of my training at the University of Iowa. After serving as Chief Resident of Pediatrics at the University of Iowa I took my first faculty position as Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. While at the Medical College of Georgia I took care of pediatric patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting, including the newborn nursery. I also had many teaching/academic roles, including directing the "Pediatric Intercession" for second year medical students.

My husband, Dr. Sean Didion, PhD., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology where he does basic science research. We have 4 children and currently live in Madison, MS.
