Biography: Dr. Dehon is a native of New Orleans, LA. After losing her family home to Hurricane Katrina, she relocated to Jackson, MS and pursued a PhD in clinical psychology. After receiving her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Jackson State University she went on to complete a psychology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship in HIV and Hepatitis C at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She has specific training and expertise in evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions, behavioral and psychological assessments, and quantitative and qualitative research using social-psychological variables. Her research and professional interests include faculty development, wellness, program and performance evaluations, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
