Biography: Megan Butts is a 20 plus year employee of UMMC. Megan is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Master's Degree in 2011 from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Megan is also a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, obtaining her Post-Master's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2020. Megan has worked for the department of Neurology in the Neuroscience ICU since April of 2013. Megan also has additional experience in Labor & Delivery, Surgery/Trauma, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist/Internal Medicine and Telemedicine. Megan currently maintains ENLS and CNRN specialty certifications. Megan earned the Spero Award in 2016 from the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency.
