Biography: Upon graduation from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2008, I have had the opportunity to work as a staff nurse, an admission and discharge nurse, and now a nurse educator. In 2011, I achieved certification as a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse through the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses. With a desire to further my education to better serve the patients I care for, I enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at UMC in 2013.Currently I participate as a Shared Governance Member for UMC on the Professional Development Program Sub-Council, the Nursing Clinical Policies Sub-Council, and 5 North's Unit Practice Council.
