David Norris, MD, professor of family medicine and assistant dean for academic affairs in the School of Medicine at UMMC, will present the Faculty Development Seminar, "AI in Medical Education," at noon Thursday, March 5, online via Webex.

This session explores practical, policy-aligned uses of generative AI in medical education, including case development, rubric creation, feedback coaching and study planning. The seminar will also address guardrails for fairness, transparency and academic integrity, emphasizing how AI can augment — not replace — educators.
