Description:
Colin Segovis, MD, PhD, MRMD (MRSC™), associate professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, medical director MR/director of MRI Quality and Safety, medical director of Revenue Cycle Operations, epic physician informaticist, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Emory University School of Medicine, will present the Radiology Grand Rounds and 2024 Visiting Lectureship "From Surviving in Silos to Success in Systems – MRI at Emory Enterprise Radiology" at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the North Wing, N318: 3A and online via Webex.
The educational objectives are to explore barriers to safe and high-quality MR imaging in a large academic health system, review the basics of lean management techniques in healthcare, and examine the application of these techniques to improve MRI operations within such a system.
There are no fees for participating in this activity. No planners or speakers have any relevant financial relationships.
