The UMMC Cancer Center and Research Institute presents the Mississippi HPV Summit for providers, policy makers and patient advocates Tuesday, Jan. 30 at in the UMMC School of Medicine SM124 and online via Webex.

• 11:30 a.m. - noon: "HPV Statewide Prevention Efforts: A Look Back and Strides Forward," presented by Carolann Risley, NP, PhD, associate professor for UMMC Cancer Center and Research Institute and the School of Nursing
• Noon - 1 p.m.: "Reducing Cancer Mortality through HPV Vaccination & Cervical Cancer Screening," presented by Douglas Lowy, MD - Principal Deputy Director for the National Cancer Institute
• 1:15 - 2 p.m.: Panel Discussion: "Where Do We Go from Here?"
