Thomas H. Mosley, Jr. PhD., Robbie and Dudley Hughes MIND Center Chair and director of The MIND Center, will give the Mind Matters Community Education Series presentation, "Advances in Alzheimer's and Dementia Research," at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 5, online via Zoom.

This is a free, virtual training. Registration is required. Learn about the latest trends in Alzheimer’s and dementia research, leading-edge studies underway at The MIND Center, and how you can get involved in helping to solve the puzzle of Alzheimer’s. An overview of the UMMC MIND Center - Mayo Clinic Study of Aging and the Biomarkers for Vascular Contributions to Cognitive Impairment and Dementia (Mark VCID) study will be provided. Key findings from The MIND Center's ACHIEVE Study will also be reviewed and the benefit of hearing aids in slowing cognitive decline in older adults discussed.
