Dr. Richard Bohmer, Harvard Business School professor and healthcare management advisor, will lead a mini-symposium entitled "Business in Medicine: Systems-Based Practices," on Wednesday, Nov. 15 in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union.

Bohmer will begin with a student-focused management case discussion on strategic changes in health care delivery systems at 9AM followed by an open lecture on "Physician Leadership in Healthcare" beginning at 10:30 a.m. This event officially launches the new systems-based practice component of medical education at UMMC.
