UMMC 101: Emergency Response

Dr. Jonathan Wilson, Chief Administrative Officer, will present the UMMC 101 session, "Emergency Response," on Monday, April 24, at noon in R153.

When there is a large-scale medical emergency in Mississippi, personnel from UMMC are often a part of – or leading – the response teams. And in many cases, like the recent catastrophic tornado in Rolling Fork, teams that include UMMC responders are activated before or directly following an event and quickly on the scene providing emergency medical care. During this event, you’ll hear from some of the UMMC’s emergency medical response leaders.

This session should especially be of interest to UMMC employees interested in learning about emergency services at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Box lunches will be available to the first 75 attendees.
