Courtney Thompson, a graduate student in the Microbiology & Immunology program, will defend her dissertation, "Nonencapsulated Streptococcus Pneumoniae Oligopeptide Transporters Regulate Transcriptional Pathways and Alter Pneumococcal Virulence," at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 3, in the Research Wing – Lower Amphitheatre R153.
