Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the Division of Continuing Health Professional Education are hosting the conference "Laryngeal Cancer for the Primary Care Provider," from 8 - 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 in UMMC School of Medicine Lecture Hall 122.

Literature has shown that there are gaps in the education of primary care providers for otolaryngologic disorders and particularly for head and neck cancer. This course is designed to aid primary care providers in recognition of early symptoms of head and neck cancer. It will also help guide these providers on when to refer. 

Registration and CME/CE are free; breakfast and snacks will be provided.
