Volunteers for See, Test and Treat event

Description:

The UMMC Cancer Center and Research Institute is seeking student volunteers for a variety of roles during its annual See, Test and Treat multi-cancer screening event, scheduled from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, August 20, at the UMMC Cancer Center and Research Institute clinics at Jackson Medical Mall.

See, Test and Treat provides breast, cervical and oral cancer screenings and health information for medically underserved women in the Jackson metropolitan area.

Volunteers will help escort participants to cervical, breast and oral cancer screenings, collect evaluation data and handle other tasks as needed. Registered volunteers will receive a free on-site meal and a T-shirt.
