Chris Moore, Director of the IRB in Human Research Office/Institutional Review Board, will give the virtual HRO Seminar Series presentation, "Defining ‘human subjects research’ and understanding the expedited review process,” at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, online via WebEx.

Areas that will be covered in this presentation: What constitutes human subjects research? What are the exempt and expedited research categories? What submissions can qualify for an expedited review process? What is the process for obtaining an expedited process approval?
