Volunteers needed for See, Test and Treat event

Description:

The UMMC Cancer Center and Research Institute is seeking student volunteers for a variety of roles during its annual See, Test and Treat multi-cancer screening event, scheduled from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Jackson Medical Mall Thad Cochran Center.

See, Test and Treat provides breast, cervical and oral cancer screenings and health information for medically underserved women in the Jackson metropolitan area.

All volunteers must participate in a walk-through training and orientation session at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, at the medical mall. Pre-registered volunteers will receive a T-shirt and a meal during the event.
