Mandatory flu vaccine deadline

According to the Medical Center's Flu Policy, the flu vaccination, available free to all UMMC faculty, staff and students, is mandatory on the UMMC campus and on any of the institution's off-campus sites. Failure to adhere to the policy will result in progressive discipline up to and including employee termination or student expulsion.

Flu vaccines are now available at Student/Employee Health. The deadline for all UMMC faculty, staff and students to receive the flu shot at UMMC or to provide an official vaccine administration record of receiving it off campus is 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9.
