Dr. J. Keith Mansel, UMMC professor of medicine and director of palliative and supportive care services, and Carole Ward, UMMC palliative nurse navigator, will give the UMMC Department of Surgery Grand Rounds presentation, "Effective Communication and Decision Making in Health Care," from 8-9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in room CW 106 of the Classroom Wing. Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and other interested health care providers are invited. Continuing education credit is available.
