Emergency Natural Gas Outage

Description:

Emergency Natural Gas Outage today, Tuesday January 11. 

In order to make immediate repairs, it has been necessary to cut off the natural gas serving a number of buildings on campus;

• Translational Research Center
• Student Union
• Alumni House
• Ronald McDonald House
• Office Annex
• University Rehabilitation Center
• Mississippi Federal Credit Union 

This outage will affect all gas-fired equipment, including boilers, heating hot water for HVAC systems, gas-fired dryers, domestic hot water, laboratory gas and all equipment served by natural gas in the above listed areas.

Repairs are ongoing, there is no estimated repair time at the moment.  Updates will be provided as repair work progresses.
