Yard signs touting appreciation for nurses during nation Nurses Week are available for sale to benefit to Nursing Excellence Fund, which supports the retention of UMMC nurses through professional development, continuing education and appreciation for exemplifying excellence in patient care and leadership.

Those who purchase the signs are encouraged to display them in their yards on Thursday, May 6, to display their support for UMMC nurses.

The signs will be available for pickup from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, April 30, Monday, May 3 and Tuesday, May 4, in the circle in front of the medical education building (on Peachtree Road off Lakeland Drive).
