Dr. Krista Lentine, professor of medicine and director of living donation at the Saint Louis University Transplant Center, Miss Mississippi Mary Margaret Hyer, UMMC transplant faculty members, an organ donor and a UMMC patient who received a liver transplant are scheduled to speak during University Transplant's annual Mississippi Transplant Symposium Thursday-Friday, Oct. 10-11.
Topics will include trends in transplantation, increasing access to care and the process of being a live donor. Continuing education is available.
