Christy Barrick, nurse practitioner in the Adult Intensive Care Unit at UMMC, will give the Office of Nursing Quality, Development and Professional Practice's "Clinical Leaders Using Best-practices (CLUB)" presentation, "Implementation of a Fasting Protocol for Patients Prior to General Anesthesia," from 11 a.m.-noon on Tuesday, Aug. 13, in classroom 3A.

Lunch will be available to the first 25 in attendance. PDP points also will be available.
