Pediatric Transport

In 2010, Children's Transport expanded to provide hospital-to-hospital transportation for critically ill pediatric patients. Our patients require critical care for respiratory complications, uncontrolled seizures, cardiac abnormalities, congenital anomalies and other complex medical problems.

The sophisticated equipment, dedicated drivers and skilled medical team provides patients from newborn to young adult with a level of care that is higher and more specialized than any other emergency transport service in Mississippi. When a critically ill child needs medical transportation, our experienced team is available 24/7, providing the expert care and transportation all children deserve.

Our team remains in contact with the accepting physician throughout the transport which allows us to initiate the protocols that will be continued in the pediatric ED or PICU.

Kids are not smaller adults and they require specialized medical care and equipment. The goal of our team is to provide children with excellent, specialized medical treatment while also focusing on family-centered care. Taking care of Mississippi's smallest and most vulnerable patients is why the Children's Transport service was created.
