Coffee Talk with Marshall Ramsey

Good morning.

This week’s VC Notes is another in our video Coffee Talk series, this time with the very popular Marshall Ramsey.

Those of you who have lived in Mississippi over the past 27 years probably already know Marshall through his years as an editorial cartoonist with the Clarion Ledger. His thought-provoking and funny cartoons have been well-known across the state and even nationally. Now Marshall is using his talents as editor-in-residence for Mississippi Today.

Marshall is also a successful author and a radio, podcast and TV show host. During our talk, he shared a little of his own patient journey, including care received here at UMMC.

His wit and wisdom are only matched by how busy he is. So, I appreciate him taking some time out of his day to sit down and have a chat. I think you’ll find while watching this conversation that he is as interested as we are in a future that includes A Healthier Mississippi.
