The state-of-the-art four-story clinic, which will provide a one-stop shop for all patient needs, expects to see more than 6,300 geriatric and dementia patients each year.

The Medical Center presented 23 platinum, gold, silver and bronze medallions to faculty who have been most successful at garnering extramural funds during their careers at UMMC.

Friends of Children’s Hospital volunteers brought joy to children through stocking stuffers, Ballet Mississippi performances from “The Nutcracker” and the lighting of the Children’s of Mississippi Christmas tree last week. Meanwhile, employees of Brasfield & Gorrie, the general contractor for the construction of the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower, were visiting as elves, helping patients build Lego projects.
