They're on the front lines of ensuring the Medical Center's COVID-19 response is as robust as it can be through best practices treatment of patients to control the highly contagious virus.
Dr. Alan Jones recently became the fourth UMMC faculty member to receive a Southeastern Conference Faculty Achievement Award. As a recipient of the honor, the professor and chair of emergency medicine is the University of Mississippi’s nominee for SEC Professor of the Year.
