Imogene Clark has been coming to the dental school for all of her dental needs since 1978. At 89 years of age, she can make a rare claim: She still has all of her original teeth.

Dodie McElmurray, the new CEO of UMMC Grenada and UMMC Holmes County, is a familiar face at the Medical Center and in the Mississippi Delta. The Belzoni native had administrative posts at UMMC, Greenwood Leflore Hospital and West Jefferson Medical Center on New Orleans’ West Bank before circling back to her roots.

After five years, staff at the Tupelo specialty clinic, part of Children's of Mississippi, now provide treatment to more than 4,000 patients annually. As the pediatric arm of UMMC, including Mississippi's only children’s hospital and pediatric clinics statewide, Children’s of Mississippi staff seek to help every child in the state reach his or her full potential.
