The 100-Day Workout brings together multidisciplinary groups of employees to tackle performance, quality, safety and other work that impacts the lives of UMMC employees. Periodic workouts drive positive change, from raising awareness about employee slips and falls to standardizing the way nurses hand off patients to one another.
The multiple duties of faculty, from teaching to conducting research to performing service on- and off-campus, can place a burden on their physical, mental and emotional well-being. The John D. Bower School of Population Health has developed the Quality of Academic Life Study to measure and address burnout among Mississippi's faculty.
