Designed to help baccalaureate-prepared RNs achieve the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree seamlessly and expeditiously, the BSN-DNP program is the right choice for RNs seeking professional advancement and growth.
A practiced-focused doctoral program, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program offered at the University of Mississippi School of Nursing prepares experts in specialized advanced nursing practice. The DNP program focuses heavily on practice that is innovative and evidence based, reflecting the application of credible research findings.
The School of Nursing Post-Master's DNP Early-Entry program provides a smooth transition from master's coursework to doctoral coursework and allows MSN students from the University of Mississippi and Alcorn State University to reserve a spot in the competitive DNP program while completing the master's degree.

The purpose of the Mississippi Educational Consortium for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice is to support increasing the nursing leadership capacity in Mississippi.
