Amaan is a medical professional, who obtained his medical education in India before making a move to
Chicago. Currently serving as a Preventive Medicine resident, he has developed a keen interest in
Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry, Data Science, and Machine Learning. With a passion for leveraging
computer hardware and software in the healthcare industry, Amaan has a continued interest of
designing innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes. In his free time, he enjoys building DIY
Arduino projects, engaging in audio engineering and sound design, and teaching himself orchestral
programming.
Amaan is currently undergoing training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), which
boasts a multidisciplinary approach to care and Mississippi’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. He is thrilled to
be part of an enthusiastic community of faculty and residents who are working collaboratively on
groundbreaking research initiatives. Amaan is committed to leveraging his knowledge and experience to
make a positive impact in the healthcare industry.
