Health Sciences Accreditation and Program Requirements

Bachelor's degree

Following satisfactory completion of all requirements, the student will be awarded the bachelor of science in health sciences degree from the University of Mississippi.

The Health Sciences program is accredited through UMMC's accreditation by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC). 

Degree requirements

Candidates for the health sciences (BS) degree must have completed the prescribed curriculum with an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or better on a 4.00 scale on all work at UMMC. Following satisfactory completion of all requirements, students will be awarded the bachelor of science in health sciences from the University of Mississippi.

Master's degree

Following satisfactory completion of all requirements, the student will be awarded the master of health sciences degree from the University of Mississippi.

The Master of Health Sciences program is accredited through UMMC's SACSCOC accreditation.

 

Degree requirements

Students who satisfactorily complete all the requirements will be awarded the master of health sciences degree from the University of Mississippi. Candidates for a degree must have attained an overall grade point average (GPA) in UMMC coursework of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
