Requirement for Completion of Everfi Online Training Program
1.0 PURPOSE
Everfi is an online training program that helps prepare students to identify, prevent, and respond to issues involving alcohol and substance abuse and sexual misconduct. The purpose is to assure compliance with the below referenced policies.
2.0 POLICY
All incoming students are required to complete Everfi , an online training program about healthy relationships, alcohol use, and sexual assault.
Students are required to have Everfi training completed by the pre-determined deadline date established each semester by UMMC. Failure to complete the Campus Clarity training in a timely manner will result in a hold being placed on a student’s account making the student ineligible to register, add/ drop, change or withdraw from his/her courses.
3.0 SCOPE
This policy applies to all UMMC students, including those from the School of Dentistry, School of Graduate Studies, School of Health Related Professions, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Population Health and School of Pharmacy, including those in online or distance education programs, regardless of physical presence on the UMMC campus.
