The Crossroads Dental Clinic marked its fourth anniversary in October, and hopefully few people noticed. The referral-based clinic housed in the Jackson Medical Mall keeps a low profile and would like to keep it that way.

Dr. John Smith says he is grateful for the life a career in dentistry has given him, so grateful that he's committed to helping the next generation of dentists fulfill the same opportunity.

Female students reach majority

The 30-year-old School of Dentistry has reached a new milestone. With women dentists becoming more the norm in a profession long dominated by men, the dental school for the first time enrolled a higher number of new female students than male students.

Entering the school this fall, the class of 2013 includes 18 new female students and 17 new male students.

SOD re-energizes CE program after 3-year hiatus

After a three-year hiatus, the School of Dentistry has renewed its Continuing Education program, beginning with a day-long course held in the Simulation Suite in July.
