Ranked 67th in the country, the School of Nursing is near the top 10 percent of baccalaureate nursing programs nationally. The ranking includes traditional and accelerated BSN programs at UMMC and the accelerated BSN program in Oxford, spotlighting the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing's work to become the state’s flagship nursing program.

When Najhawan Billingsley cares for patients in UMMC Grenada’s critical care unit, he knows some of them because they’ve been there before. They develop a family relationship as Billingsley does all he can to improve their conditions so that they can be transferred to a regular floor and regain their health.
