Smiles abounded in the School of Dentistry last Friday as hundreds of children from the Jackson Public Schools received free dental treatment from dental and dental hygiene faculty, students and other volunteers.

Dr. Mark Barraza, chief of the Division of Pediatric Urology, has counted Dr. James Keeton as a close friend and mentor for more than 45 years. Barraza now holds the James E. Keeton, M.D. Chair of Pediatric Urology, which was awarded to him during a ceremony last Thursday at the Fairview Inn in Jackson.

Several interesting events are scheduled for the upcoming weeks at the Medical Center.
