It's been proven that medicine can’t advance without clinical research, and clinical research can’t happen without human volunteers. Clinicians and administrators discuss the importance of communication between participants and study investigators and how UMMC is making research partnerships more accessible.

A member of the first Doctorate of Health Administration graduating class at UMMC, Dr. Guy Giesecke is putting the knowledge, skills and research project he developed from his SHRP studies into his career as CEO of Children’s of Mississippi. The 2019 SHRP Alumnus of the Year gives back to the school by speaking to D.H.A. classes.
