From the UMMC employees who volunteer to the families of Children’s of Mississippi patients who greet PGA TOUR spectators each year, the Medical Center is an active partner in the Sanderson Farms Championship. The tournament has raised millions of dollars for UMMC’s pediatric expansion, including $1.2 million in 2017 alone.

Dr. David Rogers has made significant contributions to the field of clinical pharmacy and has modeled his own leadership approach after the UMMC professors he greatly revered. His success has now earned him the School of Graduate Studies in the Health Sciences' Alumnus of the Year distinction.

The MIND Center’s fundraising concert series brought Grammy, Tony and Emmy-award winning performer Cyndi Lauper to Thalia Mara Hall Oct. 25. The concert proceeds will benefit The MIND Center-Mayo Clinic Study of Aging, a new project that will focus on determining best practices for healthy brain aging.

Several interesting events are scheduled for the upcoming weeks at the Medical Center.
