Dr. Lyle Zardiackas, a pioneer in the field of metallurgy for the use of metals for biological applications, recently established an endowment to ensure research in metallurgy continues in the lab he founded at the School of Dentistry in 2004.

UMMC Grenada and UMMC Holmes County serve critical roles in their communities and the Medical Center’s health system. On May 14, the two campuses get a new leader: Wes Sigler, a longtime hospital administrator and executive who knows the state’s terrain well.
