Jharad Faust Jr. of Meadville started life with a critical congenital heart defect that left him struggling to survive. At 3 months old, Faust became the youngest child to receive a heart transplant at Batson Children’s Hospital. A year after the surgery, his cardiologist reports steady improvement in Faust's health.
