The UMMC Cancer Institute and the Department of Radiation Oncology installed the equipment in May to provide nonsurgical therapy for patients with malignant or benign brain tumors, brain metastases or other conditions. It’s pinpoint precision delivers therapy to tumors with less damage to healthy tissue.

New dental graduates seeking a career in academia can be hindered by the burden of student loan debt. Dental schools across the nation are facing shortages in full-time dental faculty. A grant from HRSA aims to relieve this debt for future and current faculty members.
