Edward D. Green, M.D., is Professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Radiology and is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Baylor University and obtained his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following his internship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, he completed his radiology residency training at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. After completing his nuclear radiology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Green joined the faculty of the UMMC Department of Radiology in 2008. He is recognized as a national leader in PET/CT imaging. He is committed to top-tier patient care, education, and research. Dr. Green has served on multiple committees at the American Board of Radiology and American College of Radiology, along with having held leadership positions within the Mississippi Radiological Society.
