Dr Sarah Glover grew up in the Pacific Northwest, obtained a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry at Seattle Pacific University and received her medical degree from Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr Glover completed her Internal Medicine Residency and GI fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then joined their faculty from 2004 to 2010. From 2011 until 2018, she served as faculty at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Since January 2019, Dr Glover has served as the Division Chief for Digestive Diseases at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Dr Glover’s clinical practice is focused on the medical management of Crohn’s Disease, ulcerative colitis, eosinophilic and mast cell disorders that impact the GI tract including hereditary alpha tryptasemia. Dr Glover has current collaborative NIH funding and is active in industry sponsored clinical trials. Her laboratory focuses on innate immune mechanisms of gut inflammation and COVID-19 immune responses.
