DESCRIPTION:Dr. Thomas Mosley, Robbie and Dudley Hughes MIND Center Chair and director of the MIND Center at UMMC, will present MIND Matters, "Promising Developments in Alzheimer's and Dementia Research," at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, in Sparkman Auditorium at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum, 1150 Lakeland Drive, Jackson, and online via Zoom.This presentation will highlight recent advances in Alzheimer's disease and related dementia research, including emerging blood-based biomarkers, new treatments and current understanding of risk factors and prevention strategies to promote brain health and healthy aging. This free educational program is open to all, but registration is required. CE credit will not be offered.
