The mission of the Mississippi AIDS Education and Training Center (MSAETC) strives to improve the quality of life for persons living with HIV/AIDS through the provision of high-quality, professional education and provider training. We tailor and educational services to the needs of all health care professionals, from novice to expert, and from low-volume to high-volume HIV care.
The AETC programs work in:
HIV experts from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and across the United States focus on providing clinicians and health care professionals the opportunity to increase their knowledge, skills and confidence to provide high-quality HIV care services for all.
The MSAETC program provides in-person, online and distance-based training to promote current treatment guidelines and to highlight key issues in current clinical practice. We work with clinics to determine the best methods/mode of training for your facility. Continuing education credits may be available for some courses.
