PhD - Population Health Science

Admission requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • GPA (3.0 or better preferred) from an accredited program
  • 3 letters of recommendation from faculty members at accredited institutions
  • A personal statement (maximum 3 pages) that includes information about relevant training or experiences in population health
  • Minimum GRE score of 300, minimum MCAT score of 495, minimum DAT of 19 – We will waive the 5 year deadline for GRE scores provided the applicant can supply the registrar’s office with official documentation of test scores for the AY 2018-19. 

Admission prerequisites

  • Earned baccalaureate degree with GPA of 3.0 or higher in health, social, or political sciences
  • Competitive score on the GRE
  • Undergraduate/graduate coursework in basic statistics, research methods, and biology with a grade of B or better
