What do you like about the program?
What I appreciate most about the neurosurgery program at UMC is the resident camaraderie. Our residents take very seriously their role in developing the next person in line. It's a value they learn from our faculty. Every time I walk in the hospital, I know I'll be both supported and stretched.

And Mississippi is an excellent place to learn. Being at the only Level 1 trauma center in the state and the only hospital with a neurosurgery residency, we see a broad range of disease with the most extensive, challenging presentations and comorbidities. It prepares our residents for matching into competitive fellowships.
