The parade is LIMITED TO 50 MOTOR VEHICLE ENTRIES on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. Float passes must be displayed on the dashboard of the pull vehicle before entering the line-up. Numbers on passes do not represent line-up order. Only floats with their pull vehicles attached will be allowed in the parade staging area. Do not expect to park the float and then come back later in the day with the pull vehicle. Load all items onto the float before checking in as vehicles are not allowed in the line-up area.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE LINE-UP AREA OR ON FLOATS. FLAGRANT CONSUMPTION OF SUCH BEVERAGES ON FLOATS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL AND DO NOT USE CONFEDERATE FLAGS ON YOUR FLOAT OR IN THE FLOAT DESIGN.

Mandatory information and public safety meeting - February 8, 6 - 7 pm, at Hal and Mal's; one representative from each float must be present at this meeting.
Walkers/Point People must number 1 person every 5 feet of the float and pull vehicle. ALL FLOATS must supply the minimum amount of point people to carry the PVC pipe. Point People are required to carry a minimum 1/2 inch PVC pipe which extends along the side from the front of the pull vehicle to the rear of the float. This pipe must be one solid piece. This will assist point people in crowd control.
Buckethead judges are keenly aware of the "homemade" and spontaneous character of Hal's St. Paddy's Parade and especially appreciate participants whose presentation embodies this tradition.
