Sawyer to deliver Field surgery lectures
Dr. Robert Grant Sawyer, professor of surgery and public health sciences and chief, Division of Acute Care Surgery and Outcomes Research, University of Virginia Health System, Charlottesville, will present the Richard Jennings Field Jr. Lectureship in Surgery, "One Attempt to Objectively Quantify Procedural Learning" at 8 a.m. and "When Should We Start Antibiotics in Critically Ill Patients: Maybe Not as Soon as You Think?" at noon on Wednesday, April 10, in the Norman C. Nelson Student Union.
Case presentations are scheduled at 9:15 a.m. and lunch will be provided at 11 a.m.
