Instructor in Nursing
Robyn MacSorley began her nursing career in 1992. She has gained adult-health and pediatric nursing experience working in varied hospital, emergency department and medical clinic settings. Her teaching career began in 2008 while serving as a clinical-adjunct faculty for a Practical Nursing (PN) program. She obtained her BSN degree from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in 2010. While serving as an instructor, she teaches didactic and clinical to Traditional BSN students. She also works in the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) with all nursing students.
She is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International and the Mississippi-1 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (MS-1 DMAT). She serves as treasurer for the Theta Beta Chapter of STTI. Her clinical interests include adult-health issues and clinical simulation. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she is also pursuing her PhD in Nursing Education and Administration.
