Assistant Professor of Nursing
Dr. Jill White, an assistant professor of nursing, received her BSN from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in 1996, MSN degree in 2002, and her PhD in Clinical Health Sciences in 2014.
After working as a staff nurse at University of Mississippi Medical Center and at Central Mississippi Medical Center, she worked as an instructor at the School of Nursing from 2002 to 2006. Prior to rejoining the school as an assistant professor, she served as a clinical specialist for Medtronic in Jackson.
She has co-authored several journal articles, presented at the local, state, national levels and is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Mississippi Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International - Theta Beta Chapter where she serves as Faculty Counselor.
